SX probe is unknown probe type where the maximum sample depth is 550 m and DX comprises of unknown probe type where maximum sample depth is between 550 and 960m. Temperature bias correction is provided by Tcorr=T0-Bth where Bth is the thermal bias and T0 the original XBT temperature.
