Wang-Sheeley-Arge (WSA)-Enlil is a large-scale, physics-based prediction model of the heliosphere, used by the Space Weather Forecast Office to provide 1-4 day advance warning of solar wind structures and Earth-directed coronal mass ejections (CMEs) that cause geomagnetic storms. Solar disturbances have long been known to disrupt communications, wreak havoc with geomagnetic systems, and to pose dangers for satellite operations.
The NCEI Solar and Terrestrial Physics (STP) Branch provides scientific data stewardship of solar-terrestrial datasets in compliance with NOAA Administrative Order (NAO) 212-15, "Management of Environmental and Geospatial Data and Information", dated 04 Nov 10. Scientific Data Stewardship includes the Archive, Access, and Assessment (AAA) of operational and related solar and space environmental datasets.
Data access provided by the NOAA Solar and Terrestrial Physics Branch.

NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information
NOAA created the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) by merging NOAA's National Climatic Data Center (NCDC), National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC), and National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC), including the National Coastal Data Development Center (NCDDC), per the Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act, 2015, Public Law 113-235. NCEI launched publicly on April 22, 2015.

NOAA's Space Weather Predication Center (SWPC) has been generating WSA-Enlil model data since 2013.
WSA-Enlil predicts solar wind density and velocity using satellite and ground station inputs.
WSA-Enlil is the most recent and most accurate model for anticipating when solar wind storms will reach Earth.
WSA-Enlil file formats will remain consistent.
TBD
WSA-Enlil measurements will be tagged to Univeral Time Coordinated (UTC). Accuracy is expected to be on the order of 1 second [TBR].
WSA-Enlil data and products provided by the NOAA/NWS Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC)
SWPC creates the WSA-Enlil model products using data from the Global Oscillation Network Group (GONG) and satellite sources. NCEI receives the WSA-Enlil data from SWPC as tarred weekly product files.
