abstract: Physical, meteorological, and nutrients data were collected from bottle casts from the YERMAK and other platforms from a world-wide distribution from 15 January 1873 to 15 June 1967. Data include profiles of temperature, salinity, alkalinity, phosphate concentrations, and silicate concentrations. Data were submitted by the Marine Resources Research Institute -Callao and are in the Woods Hole BT Cards ASCII output Layout (modified 2/18/99). Additional funding for digitizing historic data were provided by the Global Ocean Data Archaeology and Rescue (GODAR) project.
purpose: This dataset is available to the public for a wide variety of uses including scientific research and analysis.
