Supplemental Information	Data were acquired from the NMFS-COPEPOD global plankton database at http://www.st.nmfs.noaa.gov/plankton in COPEPOD database format only. Data are not available in originator's format. Data were digitized by COPEPOD-SAR from manuscript: "Campagnes 'CIPREA' L'Upwelling Equatorial du Golfe de Guinee Juin - Septembre 1978. Centre National pour L'Exploration des Oceans: Resultats des campagnes a la mer, No. 19 (1980)". The manuscript can be ordered from the NODC library. There are lat/long errors in the file 35ci-780804_ciprea.txt Minutes presented as decimal degrees, but in manuscript degrees and minutes presented separate.
Purpose	This dataset is available to the public for a wide variety of uses including scientific research and analysis.
