This dataset includes discrete sample and profile data collected during R/V Meteor cruise 06MT512 (EXPOCODE 06MT20011018) in the Aegean Sea and Mediterranean Sea from 2001-10-18 to 2001-11-11. These data include dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity (TA), water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen concentration, chlorofluorocarbons (CFC-11, CFC-12, CFC113), helium, neon, nitrate, phosphate, silicate, tritium and, and potential temperature. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD and Niskin bottles.

Processing Steps
  • 2015-04-22T00:00:00 - NOAA created the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) by merging NOAA's National Climatic Data Center (NCDC), National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC), and National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC), including the National Coastal Data Development Center (NCDDC), per the Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act, 2015, Public Law 113-235. NCEI launched publicly on April 22, 2015.
