A PDF of the Final Report contains plots and tables of data from both the hydrological and biological stations, including statistical analysis.

PI: John Valentine
Purpose Within the Delta proper, a large dike-like causeway built in the late 1920s has severed a number of once open bays from immediate contact with the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. By altering tidal exchange and volume of flow, this hydrological modification may have altered the ecological function and biodiversity of the Mobile-Tensaw Delta as well. To address this question, the Mobile Bay National Estuary Program funded a one year study designed to collect preliminary data assessing causeway impacts on the ecology of the lower Mobile-Tensaw Delta.
Use Limitations
