High density eXpendable BathyThermograph (XBT) data from the Ship of Opportunity Program (SOOP) were centralized and quality-controlled by the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, High Resolution XBT Network. The ocean transects were along XBT Network routes I21, P09, P37, P38, and S37. The dates of data collection were from 2011-10-12 to 2016-12-31. The XBT data are provided in ASCII text files. Calibration and navigation data were also supplied.
