During the NOAA El Niño Rapid Response (ENRR) field campaign, 33 CTD's were released from NOAA Ship Ronald H. Brown ship over the period Feb 22-Mar 11 2016. The ship was in the eastern tropical Pacific ocean and stayed near the equator. Measurements included temperature, depth, pressure, salinity, conductivity, and sound velocity. Maximum depth was approximately 3000m for some sondes. Data are in .cnv files.
Data was intended to understand the Pacific equatorial ocean during an El Niño event. Also, it would help verify analyses that are produced.
