This dataset includes biological, chemical, discrete sample, optical, physical and profile data collected from Investigator in the Indian Ocean and South Pacific Ocean from 2016-03-14 to 2016-04-13. These data include ABSORPTION - SCATTERING - ATTENUATION COEFFICIENTS, AMMONIUM (NH4), CHLOROPHYLL A, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LIGHT TRANSMISSION, LONGITUDE, NITRATE, NITRITE, PHAEOPHYTIN, PHOTOSYNTHETIC ACTIVE RADIATION (PAR), Potential temperature (theta), SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, phosphate and silicate. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD, PAR Sensor, bottle and transmissometer.

These data were collected by Bronte Tilbrook of Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization, Andrew Dickson of University of California - San Diego; Scripps Institution of Oceanography and Pete Strutton of University of Tasmania as part of the SOCCOM_096U20160314 data set. CDIAC associated the following cruise ID(s) with this data set: IN2016_v02
