This data set contains atmospheric measurements of carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4) from 12 sites sites located across the state of Utah. Data are in Comma Separated Value (CSV) ASCII text with one file for each station. QA/QC flags, measurements precision and accuracy statistics and calibrated observations are also provided.

All observations of CO2 and CH4 are directly traceable to the WMO scale
Purpose CO2 and CH4 observations were collected for an array of research goals and interests including: (a) understand spatial and temporal variability of emissions, (b) evaluate the accumulation of pollutants during complex meteorological conditions, (c) develop and improve atmospheric transport models, (d) validate emissions inventory estimates, (e) investigate relationships between urban emissions and air pollution,, (f) and inform stakeholders and policymakers.
