abstract: This dataset includes Surface underway data collected from R/V Keifu Maru II in the Pacific Ocean, East China Sea and Sea of Japan, from 2017-01-10 to 2017-12-22. These data include barometric pressure, partial pressure of carbon dioxide - atmosphere, partial pressure of carbon dioxide - water, sea surface salinity and sea surface temperature. The instruments used to collect these data include carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer, shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement.
purpose: The major objectives of the measurements is to provide a high quality measurements of atmospheric and sea surface fCO2, sea surface salinity, temperature, and other parameters in the North Pacific Ocean.
