abstract: Air pressure, current, wind and temperature time series data were collected from moored buoys from TOGA Area in Pacific (30 N to 30 S). Buoy data from the equatorial pacific was submitted by Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL) and collected as part of the International Decade of Ocean Exploration / North Pacific Experiment (IDOE/NORPAX) project. Four buoys were deployed from November 6, 1977 to March 24, 1978 (buoys H1 thru H4). The data were collected by the Deep Sea Physics Group and submitted by Dr. P. Freitag.
purpose: This dataset is available to the public for a wide variety of uses including scientific research and analysis.
