The accession contains Profile Station Data Received from the British Hydrographic Office collected between November 3, 1989 to December 26, 1994 as Part of Data-Center-to-Data-Center Exchange. The data was collected using ships Charles Darwin, Discovery, James Clark Ross, and Ocean Weather Station l. 887 CTD (Conductivity, Temperature and Depth) observations and 1707 XBT (Bathythermograph) drops were submitted by Peter G.B. Jones, Ministry of Defence, UK. Data was received by NODC via Robert Gelfeld.
