STUDY NOTES: High-resolution lake sediment physical properties (magnetic susceptibility and bulk density) data for 5 sediment cores obtained from Kurupa and Upper Kurupa Lakes, Brooks Range, Alaska. Period of record extends to ~5000 years before present for Kurupa Lake, and ~3000 years before present for Upper Kurupa Lake. ABSTRACT SUPPLIED BY ORIGINATOR: Records of past climate and environment derived from lake sediment records. Parameter keywords describe what was measured in this data set.
